On behalf of the Lipid Association of India (LAI), the organizing committee feels privileged to invite you to the LAICON, International Conference of LAI to be held on 21-22 August 2021 at Delhi.
The Conference is an annual event and offers excellent opportunities to expand your professional horizons in the field of Lipidology. The topics covered are protean and mainly cover lipidology practice in Indian perspective, recent advances in dyslipidemia and related topics in cardiology such as Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome and AF. A dedicated session on Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) is the highlight of the conference. LAI - EAS joint session highlights real world concerns of dyslipedemia management. The pearls of expert consensus on management of dyslipidemia in Indians, Part 3, published recently along with deliberations on advanced lipid profile [APoB, Lp(a)] and many more topics will feature in LAICON. Based on latest research and practice, sharing the knowledge with expert international and national faculty in this unique conference shall be your memorable experience.

The flagship of LAICON is 5th Lipidology Certification Course recognized by International Atherosclerosis Society (IAS) which is going to be held on 20-21 August 2021. LAI is also pleased to announce that it is taking steps to standardize reporting on normal and abnormal lipid values amongst reputed laboratories in India during this conference to avoid perennial confusion we all face while treating dyslipidemia. The Covid is a concern for all of us and necessary steps would be implemented to ensure your safety. It is going to be a hybrid conference. However, all are requested to adhere to Covid appropriate behavior. The weather in Delhi is pleasant in August and sight-seeing opportunities are also ample.
